Mr. Corwin received a B.A. summa cum laude and phi beta kappa from the University of Minnesota in 1969 and a J.D. cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1972. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Minnesota Bar Association, and Hennepin County Bar Association. He was a member of the Governing Council of the State Bar Labor and Employment Law Section and served as Treasurer and Secretary. He is now Co-Chair of the ABA Labor and Employment Law EEO Committee.

Mr. Corwin has been in private practice since 1972. He is a charter member of the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee.

Mr. Corwin has been named in every edition of The Best Lawyers in America, 1989-present and Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, in every year from 1993-present in the area of Labor/Employment Law.

Mr. Corwin has also been selected as a Leading Minnesota Attorney in the areas of Employment Law Individual, Labor Law and ADR - employment. Fewer than 6% of Minnesota attorneys receive this distinction from their peers. He has also been named as a Super Lawyer by the Minnesota Law and Politics and also named in the top 100 Super Lawyers in the state.

In 2011, The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers announced the election of Gregg M. Corwin as a newly elected Fellow. Election as a Fellow is the highest recognition by ones colleagues of sustained outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication and excellence. There are only about 1,100 lawyers who have earned this honor.

Mr. Corwin is also an approved mediator/arbitrator on the Minnesota Supreme Court Neutral-ADR Roster He has extensive experience in mediating and arbitrating disputes in both the private and public sectors. Mr. Corwin is also an American Arbitration Association arbitrator and Mediator specializing in employment and commercial disputes.

Mr. Corwin represents the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Councils No. 5, the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees (statewide), City Employees Union Local 363 (Laborers International Union), Highway Patrol Supervisors Association, Communication Workers of America, Anoka Hennepin Secretarial Association, Association of Clerical Employees, Minnesota Conservation Officers Supervisors Association, among other unions.
